Today has been the first day of working back out with Making the Cut. I woke up and had a cup of Kashi Go-Lean cereal. Went to class. Had an apple for a snack. Went home had a delicious turkey, broccoli, and cheese wrap. A big part of getting cut is cutting your sodium intake and there is sodium in EVERYTHING. I'm constantly checking and re-checking labels to make sure that i'm not ruining my plan by accidently eating too much sodium. I went grocery shopping for all the healthy fruits and vegies and I feel good so far. I haven't gone to do the 1st work out, but Whitney is on her way over now and we're going to my apartment gym to work out. Tessa said that she wants to come too to work out. My already tiny roomates are trying to tone up too now so the motivation is even higher. On the one hand its good because I have inspiration everywhere I turn and on the other hand its bad because DAMN I don't need the competition.
Whitney...You don't have to wait to do the work outs with me. It's for people who need to lose 20 lbs. or less. I'm pretty sure you're in that category now. I bet a few of Jillians workouts would get you into those jeans in no time.
Mom...sounds like you and dad are having a blast. A bike ride sounds awesome. I want a bike. What ever happened to that other bike that was just sitting up at the house? I'm going to have a delicious Chicken and bell pepper dinner and then hit the books before hitting the sack.
Don't forget:
Keep drinking water (my skin really has cleared up because of it)
Cut out salt whenever you can (way to go whit on your ignoring salt!)
Every success no matter how big or how small is great!(bravo on not eating the french fries! I haven't had fried food since new years!)
Stay positive(We can do it! We can do it! We can do it!)
Here is Jillians Tip of the Day:
You vs. the Clock
It's important to record the emotions that trigger your appetite, and it's important to do it quickly. If you wait even a half day to record them, you may forget exactly what was bothering you in the moment you wanted that chocolate bar. Or worse yet, you might fool yourself into thinking whatever was bugging you really isn't that big of a deal after all. Finally, writing down your emotions immediately means that you can't push them to the back of your mind. They are there in print, waiting for you to deal with them right then.
(She's been all about stopping emotional eating this week...so NO EMOTIONAL EATING!) One of the diet books I read at barnes and noble said no eating past 7:00pm. So check the clock before the next time you eat!
